China Corporation Register of Shipping has undertaken the difficult task of conducting classification surveys and statutory surveys. Throughout the years, we have been conscientious about our work, striving to reach a higher standard and render better services. In addition to having established a worldwide network of more than 100 offices in important foreign ports with some 200 non-exclusive surveyors, we have concluded mutually beneficial agreements on technical cooperation, which authorize both parties to conduct surveys and inspections on behalf of each other, with the internationally renowned classification societies, such as American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Lloyd’s Register of Shipping (LR), Bureau Veritas (BV), Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK), Korean Register (KR), Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI) And China Classification Society (CCS). This has not only upgraded CR’s service quality and international status, but also provided quick services related to ship surveys to shipowners, shipyards, and manufacturers.
